In Memoriam: Bo Edvard Måns Molin

We honour the memory of Bo Edvard Måns Molin, a true pioneer of Big Dutchman in Asia and one of the foundational forces behind our growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

Bo began his journey with Big Dutchman in the early 1990s, setting foot in Malaysia and living from a modest home in Kuala Lumpur as he began shaping what would become our regional headquarters. With courage, charisma, and deep market insight, Bo helped lay the foundations of our operations in Malaysia and played an instrumental role in expanding our reach to Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Australia.

His contribution was not only strategic but deeply personal. Bo mentored a generation of professionals, built lasting customer relationships, and established a spirit of humility and excellence that continues to inspire us today. Known for his warmth, leadership, and ability to connect across cultures, Bo was more than a leader — he was family.

Bo passed away peacefully in Sweden at the age of 87. We remember him with great respect and gratitude for his visionary contributions, his role in shaping Big Dutchman’s identity in Asia, and the humanity he brought to our mission.
