Big Dutchman Strengthens Its Position in Thailand

September 19, 2024, Big Dutchman proudly inaugurated our new 2,200 sqm office and warehouse in Bangna, Bangkok, further solidifying our commitment to Thailand and the Asian market. Bernd Meerpohl, Chairman of Big Dutchman, Jan Hofstede, Head of Region Asia and India, and Jeroen Kremers, Managing Director of Big Dutchman Thailand, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Strategically located near the airport, port, and highway, will enable the company to enhance its services and provide a wider range of spare parts to its clients in Thailand. Jeroen Kremers, Managing Director of BD Agriculture (Thailand), told that the new facilities will improve the company’s spare parts management and reduce logistics time, ultimately enhancing their services to support growth.

“This warehouse is a game-changer because of the availability of spare parts. We plan to launch a large showroom for poultry and pig solutions in 2025 and use the warehouse and integrated showroom to demonstrate solutions and provide training for clients, Mr Kremers explained.

Meanwhile, Jan Hofstede, Head of Region Asia and India said the company has a logistics center in Malaysia, which can supply spare parts to clients in Thailand when required. Big Dutchman set up its first office in Thailand in 1999 and has continued to expand its business since then.

Honourable guests and industry partners attended the event, presenting flowers as a traditional Thai gesture of goodwill and prosperity.
