Big Dutchman Asia Welcomes Global Leadership for 2025 Regional Management Meeting in Malaysia
Klang, Malaysia – June 3, 2025 – Big Dutchman Asia proudly hosted its 2025 Regional Management Meeting from June 2–3 at the company’s Asia headquarters in Klang, Malaysia. The two-day event brought together key leaders from across Asia and Germany for strategic discussions, vision-setting, and collaborative planning aligned with the company’s long-term regional goals through 2030.
The session also marked a special milestone — the first official visit by Big Dutchman’s new CEO, Dr. Steffen Bersch, to the Asia regional hub.
A Shared Vision for Growth, Impact, and Innovation
Set against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving agricultural landscape, the 2025 Regional Management Meeting served as a platform for aligning Big Dutchman’s strategic direction across business units, countries, and disciplines. Discussions focused on developing cohesive goals for sustainable growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence across Asia.

- Financial planning and investment priorities for FY2025

Each country presented key achievements and forecasts, reinforcing Big Dutchman’s commitment to building locally empowered, globally connected operations in the region.
First Visit by New CEO, Dr. Steffen Bersch
The event was also the first visit to Malaysia for Dr. Steffen Bersch, who officially stepped into the role of CEO in late 2024.
“Asia is an incredibly important region for our global future,” Dr. Bersch shared during his remarks. “It’s inspiring to see the level of leadership, technical excellence, and ambition that exists here. I look forward to working closely with all of you as we take action for future generations.”
His presence was accompanied by Bernd Meerpohl, Chairman of the Board and company owner, who offered both strategic input and encouragement for regional teams.
