The BD plastic slat for ducks was developed in cooperation with the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and other experienced experts. It has been designed specifically for the requirements of ducks and can be used in houses completely or partially laid with plastic flooring, improving hygiene and helping to reduce litter material. Water splashed from nipple or cup drinkers drains easily if the drinkers are installed above the plastic flooring.
The slats’ surface structure and the shape of the links were specially designed to cater to the sensitive webbed feet of ducks.
