Providing customers with expert knowledge
More than 30 customers recently participated in a series of technical training sessions conducted by experts of Big Dutchman (BD) Asia in Thailand and Cambodia. Participants were trained on preventive maintenance of equipment, which involves proper way of equipment usage, maintenance and managing the ViperTouch controller. This electronic farm management system is an innovative technology that allows farmers to control the climate and production data of their poultry houses. The training also covered topics on improving equipment management on broiler breeder, broiler and layer farms.
Participants included both existing and new customers. For existing customers, the training was more of a refresher course to update their knowledge on equipment handling and to keep them abreast of Big Dutchman’s innovations and improvements.
After the training in Chanthaburi had concluded, subsequent sessions were held in Cambodia.
During each of the training sessions, participants were encouraged to ask as many questions as they wished. They also took the opportunity to interact with the trainer(s). The training presented a chance for participants to clear any doubts and also further strengthened their understanding on operating BD equipment.
Mr. Phanuwat Chansaming, Project Manager for BD Thailand, and Ms. Jularat Chuenpo, BD Key Account Regional Sales Manager, who coorganised the training sessions, said: “The training was a complete success and the guests were very happy that BD had organised this training for them. They are already making enquiries about upcoming sessions”.
“In view of this success, we will continue to organise training programs such as this to keep our customers updated on all new BD technology and to provide them with refresher courses on equipment usage and maintenance,” they added.
