“Why Big Dutchman moved to the Golden State”
How is Big Dutchman making food production sustainable? Jan Hofstede, President of Big Dutchman Asia in Malaysia, recently answered this question – and many more – in an interview with the Malaysian news channel Astro Awani that is well worth watching. This interview not only resulted in a great company portrait, but also contains many visual impressions of the Big Dutchman location in Klang.
The regional head office for the Asia-Pacific region is located 30 kilometres west of Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur and the largest and most modern centre of the German poultry equipment supplier today. On roughly 26,000 square meters of storage and office space, the staff provide the region’s farmers with modern and sustainable systems for livestock management and meat production.
